A Williamsburg man is one of four people, who has been named to the Kentucky State Police (KSP) Foundation’s board of directors.
The new board of director members include: Jake Brock of Williamsburg, Russell M. Coleman of Crestwood, Judith A. Taylor of Lexington, and Mary Palumbo of Frankfort.
“These four individuals will provide exceptional leadership and guidance to our foundation,” said Luther Deaton, KSP Foundation President. “With their expertise and commitment, these new board members will further enhance our mission to support the Kentucky State Police in their service to the commonwealth.”
The KSP Foundation was established in 2015 and is currently seeking community partners and organizations who wish to collaborate with the agency to achieve its mission.
The board of directors is responsible for supporting KSP and its employees through partnerships with the community and private sector to promote the interests of KSP in service to the citizens of the commonwealth. The KSP Foundation Board of Directors is made up of 11 members.
“The Kentucky State Police Foundation exists to provide a critical bridge between the agency appropriated budget and the reality of unfunded mandates that arise through the budget cycle. We also assist KSP with specialty items that troopers, officers, and staff need to accomplish their missions, such as Fentanyl response kits, tourniquets, and unique training equipment,” Hank Patton, executive director of the Kentucky State Police Foundation, said on the foundation’s website.
