Wallen’s Towing offering $100 cash drawings for customers during 2016
Throughout 2016 Wallen’s Towing and Recovery will be offering customers the opportunity to recover the cost of their bill and help their favorite charity.
Daniel Wallen, owner of the 83-year-old business, said when a customer requests Wallen’s for a break-down, pop-a-lock, fuel delivery, jump start or in response to a wreck, the customer’s name will go into a drawing for a $100 cash prize.
“Calls because of police impounds or arrests are not eligible,” Wallen said.
In addition to the cash prize, Wallen’s will make a $100 donation to the licensed charitable organization of the customer’s choice in his/her name.
“It could be a national organization such as St. Jude’s or Shriner’s Hospital, or a local charity such as the Knox/Whitley Animal Shelter or the Corbin Backpack Club,” Wallen said, noting the only requirement is that the charity be a listed non-profit organization.
Wallen said drawings will be held on the third Friday of each month. The winning ticket will be removed, but the remaining tickets will be held over for the duration of the contest.
“We just wanted to show our appreciation to our customers,” Wallen said. “They are the reason we have been in business for 83 years.”
