Violet Rogers Lay

Violet Rogers Lay, age 77, of the Wooldridge community passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at her home. She was born July 16, 1944 in Campbell County, Tennessee.
Violet is preceded in death by her father, Joe Edgar Rogers; mother, Nannie Osborne Rogers; brothers, Verlin Ray Rogers, and Lonnie Wayne Rogers; sisters, Billie Jean Rogers, Betty Jo Rogers, Jewel Rhinehart, Darlene Rogers, and Mildred Jane Rogers.
She is survived by husband, Roy Lay; daughters, Pamela Hackler and husband Keith, Rita Lay, and Donna Lay; grandchildren, Jenny Lay, and Alyssa Hackler; brother, Connie Rogers and wife Angie; sisters, Joyce Rogers and Myrtle Rogers Rhinehart; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends & family to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Sunday, November 14, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Dople officiating.
Graveside service and burial followed in the Douglas Cemetery in the Wooldridge community.
