Update: Missing W’burg teenager found safe

Update: On March 23, through the assistance of Kentucky State Police, Whitley County E-911 Dispatch and the Knoxville Police Department, Ariel Thomas was found safe, according to a Williamsburg Police Department release.

“Williamsburg Police Department appreciates our law enforcement partners and the public for their assistance with helping locate this missing juvenile,” the police department wrote in a release.

The Williamsburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager.

Ariel L. Thomas, 17, is 5’5″ weighing about 170 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.

She has a tattoo of a rose on her left arm and a scar on her right leg.
