UPDATE: A Corbin man who had been reported missing since Saturday is alive and well.
Kevin Brock, 42, who had been reported missing by his family on Saturday, contacted Kentucky State Police Wednesday. Brock later met with troopers in Knox County to confirm that he was well.
“He stated that he had been in Tennessee,” said KSP Master Trooper Shane Jacobs, public affairs officer at Post 11 in Harlan.
KSP offered thanks to the community for their efforts to spread the word concerning this case.
Kentucky State Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing Corbin man.
Master Trooper Shane Jacobs, public affairs officer at Post 10 in Harlan, said Kevin Brock, 42, has been missing from his residence on Caldwell Street between Ford Street and North College Ave on July 8.
“He told his brother he was going to a local store for cigarettes and groceries. He didn’t say which store,” Jacobs said adding that while Brock lived alone in the apartment, his brother would frequently come by and stay several days.
Brock is described as a white male, 5’11”, 190 pounds, with a tattoo on his right leg.
Brock left the residence in a 2007 black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
Jacobs said the truck has not been seen again.
