Ronald Floyd Meadors, aged 79, of Corbin, Kentucky, born on June 28, 1946, in Williamsburg, KY, lovingly remembered for his loyalty and supportive nature, passed away on February 16, 2026.
Ron, a man with an unwavering faith, served the Central Baptist Church for many years in various capacities including Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Choir Member, and Nursing Home Volunteer. His dedication to his community extended to his fervor as an avid Corbin Redhound fan, dutifully keeping the football game clock for many years.
Left to honor his memory and uphold his legacy is his wife, Gloria Meadors of Corbin, KY; his daughters, Tania Marcum and husband Allen of Corbin, KY, Tammy Meadors of London, KY, and Sarah Waldroup and husband Cory of Nashville, TN; and his grand-children, Adriene Bowman (Billy), Sam Marcum (Hope), Caleb Rollins (Abbie), and Linzee Brewster (Dakota). He also is a proud great-grandfather of eight. He also leaves behind a host of other family and many friends to mourn his passing.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Lou Meadors and Ruth Meadors, and his wife, Nyla Meadors. His steadfast loyalty and supportive nature will continue to shine in the hearts of his family, providing a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time.
Funeral service was Saturday, February 21, at the Central Baptist Church in Corbin with Rev. Josh Pollitt and Rev. Benny Bush officiating.
Burial followed at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Corbin.
Serving as pallbearers were Ed Harris, Sunny Harp, Mike White, Mike Mills, Martin Earl Pennington and Bob Barton. Croley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
