Robert Lee Jones

Robert Lee Jones, age 76 of Mud Creek, Kentucky passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024, at his home.
He was born February 12, 1948, in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, George Jones; mother, Mabel (Siler) Jones; brothers, Arnold Jones and Warren Jones; brothers-in-law, Gene Silvers, Max Silvers, and Steward Hartle; sisters-in-law, Geneva Jones, Martha Silvers, and Linda Anderson; and nephew, Donald Lay.
He is survived by wife, Verna (Silvers) Jones; sons, Brandon Jones and wife Selena, Chris Johnson and wife Christy; daughter, Esther Loudin and husband Terry; grandchildren, Katelyn “Gracie” Lane and husband Joey, Raylee Loudin, Keaton Lawson, Boone Jones, Jessup Jones, and Ava Jones; great-grandchildren, Waylon “Sherm” Lane, and Caroline Lane; sisters, Maggie Hartle, Sharon Hyslope and husband Charles; sisters-in-law, Lola Jones, and Linda Silvers; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral will be at 10 am on Wednesday, October 30, at the Harp Funeral Home with Rev. H. Lee Ray and Rev. Ronnie Rose officiating.
Burial will follow in the Douglas Cemetery in the Wooldridge community.
Military Honors will be conducted by the Jellico Honor Guard
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of arrangements.
