R.V. “Joe” Fuson, age 80, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on March 29, 2023 in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
He was born to the late Eli Fuson and Cora (Peace) Fuson on May 29, 1942 in Ingram, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Martha Fuson; daughter, Betty Jo Fuson; three brothers, Raymond Fuson, Arville Fuson and Larry Fuson; and one sister Jean Fuson.
Joe is survived by his wife Thelma Fuson of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two daughters, Edna Moses and husband Dr. Bernard of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Bobbie Jean Fuson and husband Wendill of Williamsburg, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Kenny Joe Smith, Charles Cody Moses. Brittany Fuson Sweet and husband Ethan and Barry Fuson; two great-grandchildren, Alexander Fuson and Nichols Fuson; two brothers, Jimmy Fuson and wife Bonnie of Corbin, Kentucky and Lonnie Fuson of Siler, Kentucky; two sisters, Neva Gabbard of Pickney, Michigan and Sarah Lawson of Siler, Kentucky; special niece, Darlene Fuson Marlow of Siler, Kentucky; and a special great-nephew Keith Fuson of Florida; several nieces and nephews and a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Sunday April 2, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
He was laid to rest in the Shelton-Fuson Cemetery.
