Police not currently investigating vehicle fire incident as a hate crime

A fire that was intentionally set and engulfed two vehicles last week at an apartment complex in Williamsburg has made rounds on social media, where there have been allegations that the man accused of starting the fire did so because the vehicles belonged to a pair of African Americans. However, local police have said they are not currently investigating the incident as a hate crime.
