Noble “Bo” Cortland Smoot, Jr.

Noble “Bo” Cortland Smoot, Jr., age 70, of Covington, Kentucky departed this life on January 13, 2023 at St. Elizabeth-Grant in Williamstown, Kentucky.
Noble was born on January 11, 1953 in Jellico, Tennessee to the late Noble C. Smoot, Sr. and Nona L. (Tye) Smoot.
He was a graduate of Williamsburg High School and attended Cumberland College. He was an avid Bengals Fan.
He is survived by his companion, Rosetta Lee Marshall; daughter, Brittney Smoot of Cincinnati, Ohio; granddaughter, Nykell Smoot; sisters, Virginia Smoot Dave (Sam) of Mooresville, North Carolina, Hattie Jean Smoot Sears (Larry) of Richmond, Kentucky, Janice Smoot Mays (Tommy) of Erlanger, Kentucky, and Omega Smoot Carson (Tim) of London, Kentucky; brothers, Byron Smoot of Richmond, Kentucky and Michael Smoot of Cincinnati, Ohio; nieces, Venita (Cisco) Johnson, Nona (Sissy Lou) Williams, Joclynne (Altron) Spencer, Terri Dave, Sonya Dave, Brandy Mays, Cecily Sears, Savannah Smoot, Sydney Smoot, Halee Smoot, Hannah Carson, Brianna Hardin, Jaylah Powell, Mia Smoot, and Jasianah Mays; nephews, Robert”Robbie” Johnson, Jr., Tommy C. Mays, Jason Mays, Larry Sears, and Colby Sears; God daughter, Bryle Humphrey; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be at 12:00 PM until the funeral hour on Saturday, January 21, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rev. Junior F. Greenlee and Rev. Gerald Mullins officiating.
He will be laid to rest in the Croley Addition of Highland Park Cemetery.
