Lenville Shelley, age 96, of Morrow, OH, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025 at his home in Morrow, OH. He was born August 7, 1929 in Whitley County, KY, to the late Francis and Edith Lester Shelley. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois Lovitt Shelley; his daughter, Phyllis (Ken) Brewsaugh; siblings, Ruth (Jim) Stark, Glen (Juanita) Shelley, Gorman (Lillian) Shelley, Arnold Shelley, Herbert Shelley; and brother-in-law, Wesley Bowlin.
He is survived by his son, Vernon (Kathy) Shelley; four grandchildren that he was blessed with, James Shelley, Sarah Shelley, Ryan (Jennifer) Brewsaugh, Kyle (Heather) Brewsaugh; his great-grandchildren, whom adored and cared for him, Luke, Walker, Colton, Wyatt, Levi, Taylor Brewsaugh; great-great-grandchildren, Addison, Casen, Colt; his siblings, Anna Bowlin, Clifford (Lola) Shelley, Lester (Wanda) Shelley, Robert (Karen) Shelley; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. Lenville will be deeply missed by all.
Special thanks to the loving care of Heidi Melton, Ryan, Jennifer, Luke, and Walker Brewsaugh in honoring Lenville.
Funeral service was Thursday, December 11, at Jellico Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Doyle Lester and Dr. Max Cox officiating.
Interment followed in the Jellico Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were, Ryan Brewsaugh, Kyle Brewsaugh, Luke Brewsaugh, Walker Brewsaugh, Jimmy Shelley, and Colton Brewsaugh.
