A Gray man found passed out in a vehicle in front of the Dollar General Store in Corbin Wednesday night had marijuana and methamphetamine in his possession, according to police.
Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith said Deputy Sidney Wagner was called to the store on U.S. 25E about 9:10 p.m. in response to a complaint of a man passed out in a vehicle.
After the man became responsive, Wagner conducted an investigation, determining the individual, identified as 45-year-old Charles Tuttle, was under the influence of drugs.
Wagner reported recovering seven small plastic baggies of marijuana, a larger plastic baggie containing three ounces of marijuana, and five small plastic baggies containing suspected crystal methamphetamine.
Tuttle was charged with public intoxication – controlled substance, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
