Jerry A. Reeves, 81, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Corbin Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Whitley County, he was the son of the late Jess Reeves and Rotha Reeves.
He was preceded in death by sisters Bonnie Felts, Shirley Saylor, and Berneida Pinkova; brother Charlie Reeves; granddaughter Karin Blankenship; and great-granddaughter Kara Bunch.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Doris Martin Reeves; children Vickie Blankenship (Charles), Mike Reeves (Wanda), Mick Reeves, Teresa Sullivan (John), and Allan Reeves (Rosie); six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister Daphean Clouse.
The funeral service was held Sunday, April 30, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Reaves and Rev. John Miles officiating. Burial followed.
Pallbearers were Harold Martin Jr., Joshua Reeves, Butch Blankenship, Jason Prewitt, Anthony Bray, and Jerry Sullivan.
