Corbin has a new healthcare provider.
Jaynes Family Practice cut the ribbon Oct. 8 to officially open full time as a comprehensive medical practice.
The practice, which was opened by Leslie Jaynes, APRN, provides wellness care, women’s health, men’s health, children’s health, weight loss, acute care, mental health and chronic disease management services.
Jaynes said the ribbon cutting was a very satisfying experience.
“We have worked really hard to get the clinic open,” said Jaynes. “We have also just passed our rural health clinic inspection, so that was another big milestone for us.”
Southern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bruce Carpenter said, “I would like to thank and welcome the newest member of the Southern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Jaynes Family Practice, and congratulate them on their grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony this past Friday. I wish them every success as they grow their business and look forward to a great working relationship with Leslie Jaynes Phelps, Nurse Practitioner, and her staff.”
The practice is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
