Janice June Owens Perkins

Janice June Owens Perkins, age 94, passed away at her homeon January 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born January 11, 1931, to George Sherman and Nellie Mae Owens.
June dedicated her life to the lord and her seven children; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Her greatest joys came from serving the Lord and spending time with her family. She was a long-standing member of Stanfield United Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Sherman Owens and Nellie Mae Owens; her siblings, Barton Warren Owens, Geraldine Heatherly, Geneva Owens, Hattie Owens; half siblings, Lola Monroe, Virgie Baird, Lottie Belk, Viola Smith and John Owens; her children, Larry Perkins and Warren Perkins; grandchildren, Michael Perkins, Brenda Muse, infant boy Muse, Stacey Daugherty and Tabitha Blankenship; great-grandchild, Andrew Long and great-great grandchild, Heaven Long.
She is survived by her children, Hebert Perkins and wife Julie, Roeland Perkins and wife Linda, Lester Perkins, Mae Muse, Vickie Woodward; and daughter-in-law, Linda Richardson Perkins; sisters, Mary Ware, Sue Collins and Juanita Owens; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Funeral service was Thursday, January 16, at the Stanfield United Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Lloyd and Bro. Jennings Terry officiating.
Burial was Friday, January 17, in Warren Memorial Gardens in Pioneer, Tennessee,
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of arrangements.
