Jackson Warewashing announces layoffs due to COVID–19

Jackson Warewashing will be laying off 94 employees effective Monday, April 6, 2020, according to a WARN notice Friday.

The plant closed for a period of time in March to thoroughly clean it’s facilities.

The layoff announcement  is the latest blow to Knox County’s economy due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
