Hobart Hubbard
Hobart Hubbard, 79, of Nannie Hubbard Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Baptist Health in Corbin.
He was born on November 5, 1937 in Clarksville, IN to the late John Hubbard and Sallie (Epperson) Hubbard.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Allie Hammons-Hubbard; two sisters, Hallie White and Nancy Steele; brother, Perry Hubbard and two infant siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Hubbard of Williamsburg; three children, Ruth Hubbard, Patricia Weaver (Michael) and Dewayne Hubbard (Lou Ann), all of Williamsburg; two grandchildren, Nakita Meadors and Megan Meadors; great-grandson, Jayson Meadors; four step-grandchildren, Lindsey Wright, Chase Hughs, Destiny Herrell and Dakota Herrell; step-great granddaughter, Kaileigh Herrell; four brothers, Thomas Hubbard of Williamsburg, Archie Hubbard (Hattie) of Williamsburg, Sherman Hubbard (Debbie) of Bardwell, and Johnny Hubbard (Pam) of Williamsburg; three sisters, Sarah Nass of Williamsburg, Elizabeth Hubbard of Corbin and Betty Grimes (Steve) of new London, IA; aunt, Ada Towe of Barbourville; adopted son by love, Frank Clark of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews; long time pet, Buddy; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 8, at the Canadatown Holiness Church with Rev. Ronald Canada and Rev. Greg Hubbard officiating.
Following the service he was laid to rest the Canadatown Cemetery.
