Herbert Paul Carithers, 87, of Pioneer, Tennessee passed away Sunday, December 03, 2017 at the Beech Tree Manor. He was born November 5, 1930 in Miami, Florida.
Herb is preceded in death by his parents: Russell & Faye Blum Carithers.
He is survived by his wife: Bertha “Betty” Elizabeth Carithers; Sons, Tim Carithers & wife Debbie, Herb Carithers & wife Karen, Jon Fred Caithers & wife Debbie; daughter, Beth Thompson & husband Doug; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sister, Mary Patricia Wilkison; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends & family to mourn his passing.
The funeral was held on December 6 at the Harp Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Pires and Dr. Charles Wilkens officiating.
Burial was held December 7, in the Douglas Cemetery (Wooldridge Community).
