Gearldine (Thomas) Dople, age 87, of the Wooldridge community passed away on Wednesday February 8, 2023, at her home.
She was born March 13, 1935 in Jellico, Tennessee.
Gearldine is preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Dople; sons, Gary Lynn Dople, and Danny Lee Dople; father, Clyde Thomas; mother, Marie (Buckner) Thomas; brothers, Carl Thomas, and Ronnie Thomas; sisters, Jean Evans, Loretta McNealy, Peggy Foster, and Sue Sellers.
She is survived by sons, Johnny Charles Dople and wife Donna, James Edward Dople and wife Debra, and Jeffery Allen Dople; daughter, Kimberly Dople; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Thomas and wife Diane; sisters, Kathy Kidd and husband Roger, Vickie Lawson and husband Lewis, Jan Coker and husband Robert; special friends, Luke Williams and Lisa Dople Chapman; and very, very special friend, Faye Loudin; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, February 11, at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Dople officiating.
Burial followed in the Douglas Cemetery in the Wooldridge Community in Jellico, Tennessee
