It was a close one at Campbell Field Friday night when the Corbin Redhounds and the Southwestern Warriors met up in the 20th Annual Cumberland Falls Pigskin Classic. Things were all tied up at 7-7 going into the half, but the Hounds took care of business in the thrid and fourth quarters, ultimately coming away with the 20-17 win to put them at 1-1 on the season.
The Whitley County Colonels fought hard in their home opener against the Madison Southern Eagles, but they ended up falling by a final score of 41-20.
And the Lynn Camp Wildcats had a tought night on the road in Campbell County, TN. They were defeated 64-0, and now sit at 0-2 to start the 2014 season.
The Williamsburg Yellow Jackets will travel to London Saturday to take on the South Laurel Cardinals in the Cumberland Valley Bank Bowl. Kickoff is set for 6:00 PM on the campus of North Laurel High School.
