Florence Lawson

Florence Lawson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, at LaFollette Medical Center in LaFollette, Tennessee, with her loving children by her side.
Florence’s life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family, her faith, and her community. Her most cherished moments were the countless hours spent with her 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Florence was known for her strong Baptist faith and reading the Bible daily, a practice that enriched her life and those around her. She had a zest for life, which was evident in her enthusiasm for cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers’ football and basketball teams. Her joy was infectious and brought a sense of community to her apartment complex, where she was loved by many friends.
Florence is survived by her daughters, Jenny Lawson, Kathy (Kenny) Rowe, Sheila (Jeff) Davis, Angela (Dale) Howard, and Rosa Poe; her son, Timothy (Tammy) Lawson; her brothers, Jerome (Bernice) Leach, Raymond Leach, Gary (Sandy) Leach, James (Roth) Leach, Tony (Toni) Leach, and Eddy (Freda) Leach.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Gladys Leach; her sons, Estel Leach and Johnny Lawson; her brother, Junior Leach; her grandson, Joshua Davis; and her husband, Nathan Lawson.
