Ermon Glenn Lynch, age 91 of Corbin, Ky., passed away Monday May 20, 2019 at Baptist Health Corbin. He was born September 9, 1927 in Whitley County, Ky. to the late Roscoe and Elizabeth Smith Lynch.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Clara Ruby Lynch; sister, Lorene Lynch Wall, brother Roy Lynch, two sisters-in-law; Jeanette Lynch and Sue Lynch.
Glenn was a life member and past commander of VFW post 3167 Williamsburg, and a life member of the American Legion Post 88 Corbin, Ky.
He is survived by a son Gerry Lynch of Clearfield, UT, a daughter; Bobbie Jean (Don) Mays of Michigan City, IN, two brothers; Darrell Lynch of Williamsburg, William (Pat) Lynch of Kechi, KS; three grandchildren; Sheila (Jay) Ulku of Jefferson City, TN, Sheryl Eaton and Charles Eaton, five great grandchildren; Stacey Smolinski, Stephanie Harvey, Brandy Eaton, Shaun Eaton and Madison Kobat, five great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
The funeral service was held Thursday, May 23, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester officiating.
Interment was in the Highland Park Cemetery Davis Addition.
American Legion Post 88 Corbin, conducted military graveside honors.
