Donnie Ray Lay, age 66, of the Lot Mud Creek Community, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Saint Joseph London Hospital.
He was born November 27, 1956 in Newcomb, Tennessee.
Donnie is preceded in death by his wife, Tammy (Lowe) Lay; father, Simon “Jigs” Lay; mother, Christine (Buckner) Lay; sisters, Wanda Walker, Myrtle Mae Lay, Mary Ann Weaver; special nephew, Joe Bug Lay.
He is survived by sons, Donnie Austin Lay, and Connor Lay; brother, Ronnie Lay; sister, Beverly Hatfield and husband Dave; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Monday, February 27, at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Cox and Rev. Junior Dople officiating.
Burial followed in the Baird Cemetery in the Little Elk Community, Pioneer, Tennessee.
