Do you qualify for emergency Medicaid? You can find out at Grace Health event Saturday in Corbin

Date:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you may qualify for free insurance through an emergency state program, and a local medical group is hosting an event Saturday to help you find out more about the program and see whether you qualify.

“Due to the state of emergency, Kentucky is offering free COVID-19 emergency Medicaid. Any resident of Kentucky may apply regardless of citizenship,” according to a Grace Health announcement about the event.

Anyone age 65 or older, or who is on another form of Medicaid or Medicare is ineligible.

Grace Health will have enrollment specialists available to assist you on Saturday, Feb. 20, from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Grace Women’s Health, which is located at 1019 Cumberland Falls Highway.

Those interested can also call (606) 594-4889 if they cannot attend the event in person.

“Stop by to see if you qualify. No appointment needed,” the announcement stated.
