Delano Hamlin

Delano Hamlin, age 72, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care in Hazard, KY.
He was born May 9, 1952 in Harlan County, KY, to the late Billy Hoyt and Maxine Stephens Hamlin.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kennedy Hudson; two brothers, Gary Hamlin, and Billy Hamlin; and two sisters, Lisa Pool, and Sandra Hamlin.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Hamlin of Williamsburg, KY; five children, Melissa Hudson (Bill) of Williamsburg, KY, Billy Wade Hamlin (Rhonda) of Williamsburg, KY, Dale Hamlin (Teff Marlow) of Williamsburg, KY, Shelly Miracle (Travis) of Williamsburg, KY, and Austin Hale (Ruby) of Williamsburg KY; six grandchildren, Bailey Hudson, Isaac Hamlin, Isabell Hamlin, Savannah Miracle, Davian Hamlin, and Cheyenne Hale; one sister, Carol Carter of Illinois; two brothers, Randy Hamlin of Williamsburg, KY, and Timmy Hamlin of Covington, KY; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 3, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Croley officiating.
Interment will be in the Highland Park Cemetery Ellison Addition.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the funeral hour on Friday, January 3, at the funeral home.
