The Corbin Public Library is about to offer something new and unique for anyone looking to take on a challenge and have some fun with friends and family. The best part? It’s totally free.
Later this week, on Friday, Aug. 1, the library is teaming up with The Great Escape of Corbin to offer a free escape room experience beginning at 4 p.m. “Join for a thrilling chance to escape by completing tasks [and] solving puzzles,” the event description reads online. “From outsmarting an island to deactivating the bomb while trapped in a bunker, these games will be an adventure you won’t want to miss!”
For additional information, and to RSVP for the event, visit www.corbinkylibrary.org/upcomingevents.
Also taking place soon at the Corbin Public Library, a teen mental health first aid workshop has been scheduled for Friday, Aug. 8, beginning at 11 a.m. This workshop is designed to offer continuing education hours, but will also serve as a good opportunity to equip anyone interested with tools that could make a positive difference in a teen’s life.
