Cecil Marlow, age 81 of White Oak passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025, at LaFollette Medical Center. He was born March 4, 1944, in Primroy, Tennessee. He gave his heart to Christ in 2024.
Cecil was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He had a great love for his family and his little dog Taco, of which he would call papaw’s little buddy. Cecil enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, watching football with family (especially the TN Vols), NASCAR racing and classic country music.
He is preceded in death by parents, Harvey and Girtha (King) Marlow; sisters, Gladys Hamblin, Juanita Smith, Lois Baird and Wanda Walker; brothers, Wayne, Michael and Donny Marlow.
He is survived by loving wife of 53 years, Diana (Byrd) Marlow; children, Brent Bryan of Kodak, Jeff Taylor (Beth) of Cleveland, TN., Tammy Bailey (Mike) of LaFollette, Michelle Nealon (Adam) of Jacksboro, Linda Edmondson (Jeff) of Hendersonville, TN., Lisa Osborne (Tony) of White Oak and Melinda Taylor of Pioneer; brother, Carl Marlow of White Oak; sisters, Linda Sue Fulton of White Oak, Megan Marlow of Adrian, MI; grandchildren, Breanna, Clifton, Riley, Katie, Tyler, Dalton, Mason, Ashley, Andrew, Kimberlee, Sara, Jon, Anna, Jacob, Jared, Kayla, Kristin, Taylor, Hayden, Danielle; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.

Graveside service was Thursday, December 11, at the Harvey Marlow Cemetery, White Oak, Duff, TN with Rev. Ray Woods and Rev. Lester Bolton officiating.
Pallbearers were Dalton, King, Jacob Marlow, Jared Campbell, Jon Edmondson, Henley Marlow, and Dewayne Marlow.
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of arrangements.
