Danny L. Helton, age 65, died unexpectedly of natural causes Sunday, February 8, 2026, at his home. He was born August 28, 1960, in Benham, Kentucky to Curtis and Fern (Creech) Helton. They preceded him in death along with his wife of almost 32 years, Robin (Lamb) whom he married November 15, 1987. She died in October of 2019. Survivors include five children, Jennifer Smith of Corbin, Kentucky, Chelsie Castillo-Perez, Jamie Helton and Richard (Kevin) Peters all of Goshen, and Daniel Helton, Elkhart; seven grandchildren, Elijah, Alexander, Johnathan, Tyr, Orion, Athena and Jayden; and great-granddaughter, Alayla.
