Brenda Sue Stephenson, 62, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday August 11, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Harlan County and had been a long time employee at the former Cottongim Drug Store in Corbin.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Bethel Turner and Mary Haggard Turner; daughter, Amy Lynn Allen; sister, Norma Jean Turner, and by a brother, Clyde Turner.

She is survived by her husband, Norman Stephenson; sons, Norman Travis Stephenson and Lawrence Taylor Stephenson; grandchildren, Larry Taylor, Michael, Alyssa Renee, Blake, and Trevor Stephenson; brothers, Rubin, Bill, Charlie, Orville, Frank, and Ed Turner; sisters, Becky Trosper, Drucilla Bolton, Annalee Turner, and Jean  Grubb, and by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service was held Tuesday August 14, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Lee officiating.

Burial followed in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
