A bond hearing for one of three Indianapolis men charged in a 2017 Whitley County triple homicide quickly became heated Thursday as accusations began to fly.
Darnel Chivers, 42, appeared in Whitley Circuit Court for the hearing, which was held at his request by a motion he had previously entered on his own behalf. Chivers, who has continued to represent himself after refusing a court-appointed attorney in 2019, immediately objected to the hearing moving forward due to none of his subpoenaed witnesses being present.
