Bobby Vanover, a cherished beacon of love and joy, stepped into eternity on March 25, 2025, leaving a void in our hearts that only memories of his vibrant life can fill.
Born on September 13, 1961, Bobby was a resident of Williamsburg, Kentucky, a community he cherished and enriched with his affable presence. Known as “Poppy” by his adored grandchildren, Bobby spread delight in every interaction, leaving a profound mark on all who knew him. His infectious laughter, sage advice, and the warmth of his spirit will echo in our lives forever.
Bobby is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela McKiddy; his children, Timothy Vanover (Christina), Chasity Thomas (Alex) and stepdaughter Lindsey Wagers (Greg); his caring mother, Doris Ann Faulkner Vanover; his siblings, Curt (Melissa), Chris( Cheri), Craig (Rebecka), Jenny Freeman (Bruce), Jenny Osborne (Barry), Jody Bargo (Donnie), and Renea Miller (Raymond). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends who will deeply mourn his passing.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Vanover; his first wife, Beverly Vanover; his sister, Rita Vanover Harmon; his sister, Cledia Marie Vanover; and his grandparents, Sol and Dessie Vanover and John and Cledia Faulkner.
Funeral service was Saturday, March 29 at Croley Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Powers officiating.
Following the service, Bobby was laid to rest at Hill Cemetery, Whetstone Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be his beloved nephews.
