Five more arrested in connection with ‘drug pipeline’

One week after Williamsburg police arrested four out of town residents for public intoxication, who were believed to be part of a prescription drug pipeline from Florida, they arrested five other out-of-towners on similar charges.

Fire damages University of the Cumberlands building

Men caught trying to sell drugs to detective

A Georgia man and a South Carolina man are being held in the Whitley County Detention Center in lieu of $25,000 cash bonds on charges they allegedly tried to sell drugs to an undercover detective Wednesday.
