Update: Archie Powers remembered as a coach, who didn’t need to yell to communicate

Date:

Update: Funeral arrangements have now been set for former Corbin and Williamsburg head football coach Archie Powers. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at Immanuel Baptist Church in Corbin on Saturday. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. at the church. Following the service he will be laid to rest in Emlyn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Williamsburg and Corbin athletic programs to help continue supporting our local athletes.
