Anna Mae Goins, born on December 19, 1933, in Williamsburg, KY was called home on December 28, 2024, at the age of 91.
A long-standing pillar of the Williamsburg community, Anna was known for her kind heart, her love of crochet needling, and her unwavering dedication to her family.
As an accomplished homemaker, she created a warm and inviting environment for all who had the privilege of being welcomed into her home.
Anna is survived by her sons, Rondel (Betty) Goins and T. Tommy (Nola) Rose; her beloved grandchildren, Angie Davenport, Nikki Johnson, and Brittany (Gary) Johnson; great-grandchild, Nyla Chadwell; her caring siblings, Pete (Drucella) Rose, Barbara Moses, and Ruby (Billy) Rose; and her cherished in-laws, Sue Faulkner and Ronny Goins; several nieces and nieces; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sterling Byrd Rose and Mary Elizabeth (Monhollen) Rose; her husband, Steve Goins; infant son, Roger; and her siblings, James Rose, Tilman Rose, Lee Rose, Dewey Rose, Betty Fuson, and Cassie Paul.
The community is invited to pay their respects at the visitation on Thursday, January 2, at 12:00 pm, at the Croley Funeral Home, 103 South 2nd Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the same location.
Anna will be laid to rest at Roses Creek Cemetery, Williamsburg, Kentucky at 3:00 pm.
Anna’s life was rich with love and dedication to her family and community. We invite all who knew her to share their memories of Anna and upload photos of her to the memorial page as a celebration of her life.
