Access to North Stewart Road at traffic signal No. 4 (located at Corbin Fitness Center) closed beginning Monday (Sept. 23)

Date:

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 11 Office advises motorists that access to North Stewart Road at traffic signal No. 4 located at the Corbin Fitness Center will be closed starting on Sept. 23 at 8 a.m., and will remain closed until Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 5 p.m.

Access to North Stewart Road is available using traffic signal No. 3 located at Go Time. The need for this closure is to allow for concrete paving of U.S. 25E westbound driving and turn lanes.

This is part of the U.S. 25E congestion reduction project.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can access travel and traffic conditions at http://goky.ky.gov or contribute their reports at www.waze.com or via the Waze mobile application. You can also get traffic information for District 11 counties at www.facebook.com/KYTCDistrict11 or by following District 11 on Twitter at www.twitter.com/KYTCDistrict11.
