W’burg gets $1.5 million for splash pad, Exit 11 sewer upgrades

Williamsburg is getting over $1 million in state funding to improve sewer infrastructure to accommodate growth near the Exit 11 interchange and a $125,000 grant to help pay for construction of a splash pad, which will be built adjacent to the Kentucky Splash waterpark.

This kiddie feature for the Kentucky Splash waterpark is set to be delivered in May, and officials hope to get it installed in June.
