Corbin senior Zach Farley goes up for a shot against the North Laurel Jaguars Tuesday night.
Seniors Kaleb Maguet and Hunter Grubb led the Corbin Redhounds to a surprisingly easy win over the defending 13th Region Jaguars of North Laurel, 79-62 at Gilliam Gym Tuesday night. Maguet led the Redhounds with 23 points while Grubb added 20 points. The duo hit four three-pointers each in the win.
Corbin ups their record to 14-5 while the Jaguars fell to 10-10 on the season. Zach Farley added 13 points while Kevin Goins tossed in 11 points. Marcus Carson led the Jaguars with 23 points.
The Redhounds will travel to Knox Central Friday night before going to South Laurel for a district contest Tuesday.
